This Java applet was written by HalfLife Software, but the original idea and code came from a Visual Basic 5.0 program written by Roy Guay (firstname.lastname@example.org). The applet takes the IMS theoretical performance data and uses linear interpolation to compute the theoretical performance for any wind velocity and angle within the data range.
This applet can be adapted to be used for any boat that has performance data available (either theoretical or measured). The source code with instructions for use is available, click here to download.
